Just off I-24 in Murfreesboro is a Best Western Motel police say Christopher Bonick, 27, brought a 14 year old girl without her parent's permission. "She told her parents she was going to a study session with other friends and instead he picked her up from school," said Police spokesman Kyle Evans. Police say Bonick had sex with that girl in October there.He's now charged with Aggravated Statutory Rape and more charges could be on the way.As it turns out police believe Bonick first met the girl in an internet chatroom while deployed in Iraq then continued the contact in the USThat girl may not be the only victim either. "He found several victims we believe here in Middle Tennessee and possibly victims throughout the country," said Evans.Fox 17 News found several chatrooms online where Bonick appears to have accounts going by the name fwogman.Experts say places like that are exactly where predators are searching for your children.Tara Bloom with the Sexual Assault Center in N! ashville says parents should pay close attention if their children's internet usage suddenly goes up dramatically.That could be a warning sign."If they seem to be going to one to two sites that they weren't before that's a behavior change to look for that parents should investigate," said Bloom.
